Disk duplication
This feature allows creating images of selected partitions or entire hard drives. Full disk duplication (making an exact sector-by-sector copy onto another hard drive) is also available.
UDMA mode is supported when using an Atola DiskSense unit.
During the process, a bad sector map is created. Bad sector map is used later by our file recovery algorithms.
Atola Insight also supports custom sector maps.
Imaging/Duplication in Atola Insight
Even extremely badly damaged hard drives can be copied with this system. Both IDE and SATA I/II drives are supported.
