In the DiskSense unit Selection window, click the device you need and the LED indicators on the front panel of the unit you selected will start blinking, thus helping you to identify the unit. A unit&#8217;s hostname in the table is easily adjustable in the settings.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/atola.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/insight-selection.png\" alt=\"Selection window\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3419\" width=\"496\" height=\"336\" srcset=\"https:\/\/atola.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/insight-selection.png 496w, https:\/\/atola.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/insight-selection-150x102.png 150w, https:\/\/atola.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/insight-selection-300x203.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 496px) 100vw, 496px\" \/>\r\n<figcaption>Atola Insight Forensic: DiskSense unit Selection window<\/figcaption>\r\n<\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Now DiskSense has a new setting that allows an external DHCP server (either a router, the computer to which Insight is connected directly or a local server module) to assign a dynamic IP address on demand.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The dynamic IP mode is available in <em>Insight &gt; Modify DiskSense Unit IP<\/em> menu.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other features<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>SMART:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>New <em>Power cycles <\/em>and <em>Power on hours values <\/em>indices in the readable format above SMART table<\/li>\r\n<li>Added many vendor-specific attribute names making SMART table more informative<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Case management:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>E01 image details are added to the imaging report<\/li>\r\n<li>If source case data is specified, Insight automatically fills target E01 file details with it<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><em>Enable source device check<\/em> option.
