Here is the scenario how to setup such a network database and connect different PCs with Atola Insight to it.<\/p>\n<p>1. Pre-install SQL Server 2012 or 2014 on <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>the network server PC<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>2. Launch Atola Insight Forensic on<span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong> the user PC<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>3. Navigate to <strong>Insight -&gt; Database Connection Settings <\/strong>from the top menu<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">A. Select Server type: <strong>Remote<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">B. Specify network server name, select SQL server instance and database names<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">C. Click OK and re-launch Atola Insight Forensic on<strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\"> the user PC<\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>5. You can connect Atola Insight Forensic software from the other PCs. Just set up the same database settings as you did in the step 3.
